Dismissing a loved one is a very difficult experience, so it’s important to be cautious and follow the recommendations of the law to avoid a traffic accident during a Funeral Procession. The Procession always has the right of way on the road. It is best to drive safely and at a low speed.

In the name of kindness and understanding towards those affected drivers, it is recommended to avoid interrupting a procession or attempt to pass it. It is best to yield on red lights or intersections since the procession will always have the preference. The last car on a procession is marked by a vehicle carrying two (2) flags and has the flashing lights on. Bike riders are recommended to pay particular attention to this issue in order to avoid accidents as well.

No human loss can be recovered with economic compensation; but help is available to handle the expenses caused by these severe situations. If someone has been injured in a car accident, THE WARD LAW GROUP, PL, is available to answer any questions and help through such difficult situation.

Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. Mat 5:4
